SUMMARY:ESDM Module
DESCRIPTION:Form 29th August 2025 to May 2025 \nProgram \nThe objective of ESDM is to enhance the developmental progress of children with ASD across all domains while reducing the impact of autism symptoms that impede learning from day-to-day experiences and interactions. This module provides tools to improve social-emotional\, cognitive\, and language skills\, which are commonly affected in children with ASD. This course is designed for caregivers\, educators\, and social workers to introduce them to ESDM\, a developmental\, behavioral\, and relationship-based intervention program for infants and toddlers with ASD. Participants will acquire hands-on knowledge and techniques to create personalized teaching objectives for children aged one to two years with varying skill levels\, enabling them to help children with ASD improve their development and education and a 5 to 6 steps certification. \nThe ESDM module offers a complete understanding of the model through: \n\nan Introductory Workshop;\na seven-day Advanced Workshop + Deepening of knowledge\n\nLanguage\nThis training is mainly done in English with some possibility in French.\nThe exception is the Introductory Workshop which must be done in French. However\, for those who do not speak French\, they will have English subtitles. \nPrerequisties\n\nWork regularly with children aged 12 to 60 months with ASD.\nHold professional certification or authorization to work independently with autistic children and their families\, in accordance with current regulations.\nCollaborate with professionals from different fields (education\, psychology\, speech therapy\, occupational therapy\, behavior analysis) as part of an interdisciplinary team.\nHave the resources to submit training material for fidelity review and certification\, with access to internet and video recording equipment.\nBe autonomous in supervising files\, defining objectives and monitoring children’s progress.\nHave obtained the Introductory Workshop certificate in ESDM. ATTENTION\, the Introductory Workshop certificate must be valid at the time of the advanced training (3 years).\n\nAnyone registering for this training must first ensure that they meet the required criteria.
