The goal of ESDM is to increase the rate of development in all domains for children with ASD and to reduce the symptoms of autism that interfere with children's ability to learn from everyday experiences and interactions.
These modules aim to provide the tools for professionals or caregivers to strengthen children's social-emotional, cognitive and language skills, as development in these areas is particularly affected by autism.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) was designed for parents, educators, social workers and other individuals working with children with ASD, this course is an introduction to the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a developmental, behavioral and relationship-based intervention program for infants and toddlers with ASD. Through a hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to use ESDM techniques to create and implement personalized teaching objectives for children from one to two years of age with various skill levels. By the end of this course, participants will have gained basic practical knowledge and techniques to properly aid children with ASD in their development and education.
